Abstract
In order to identify international trends in AI governance, the status of AI-related legislation in 74 countries and institutions has been investigated. This paper presents the current status of the above in relation to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, (OECD), the G7 Summit, the United Nations, the AI Safety Summit, and Brazil, Canada, China, the EU, Peru, the UK, and the US, which have started to develop legislation for AI governance. The international trend of legislation on AI regulation has been surveyed and analysed as a basis for considering the future of AI governance.
